MANCHESTER, N.H. —7/24/2024

Last month, every major candidate for governor, Democrat and Republican, expressed opposition to the construction of a landfill next to Forest Lake State Park.

 

 

On Saturday, October 21, 2023, the Dalton Conservation Commission held its second BioBlitz from 9AM-12 Noon, recording species at the Forest Lake State Park forest, as well as the rear section of the David Dana Forest in Dalton, NH. Interested participants who cannot attend are encouraged to record species on their own properties, or others, with owner permission. Identifications will be uploaded using the iNaturalist app and to this project page. The Dalton Conservation Commission
