The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) posted on its website, the Notice of Public Comment Opportunity for the Draft Water Quality Certification (WQC) related to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) licensing of the Gilman Hydroelectric Project (FERC Number P-2392). The project is located on the Connecticut River in Dalton, Coos County, New Hampshire, and the Village of Gilman (Town of Lunenberg), Essex County, Vermont.
On behalf of NHDES, we request that the attached Notice of Public Comment Opportunity please be printed out and posted on any public-facing bulletin boards at the Town Hall and Town Public Library. NHDES will accept comments until 4 p.m. Monday January 19, 2026, after which the public notices can be taken down.
