Dalton has made tremendous progress on the roads that were washed out in Wednesday’s storms. Our highway crew and contractors have worked tirelessly to restore roads to passable conditions throughout town.
NH DOT posted “RESIDENT ONLY” signs on Route 135.
Please continue to stay away from washed out areas of town to allow the work to continue without interruption from unnecessary traffic.
Obey traffic directives and volunteers posted at road closures. DO NOT DRIVE AROUND BARRICADES. Remember, although roads are passable, they are far from secure or back to normal. Unnecessary overuse of compromised roads will lead to additional failures and delayed progress.
